Lynda Detweiler-Newcomb

Lynda Detweiler-Newcomb is the head director of Encinitas Learning Center. She is also a speech and language pathologist offering a unique level of support to children needing more intensive assistance in the areas of expressive and receptive language! Lynda has a Master’s Degree from Northridge University and has over 30 years of experience in Communication Disorders. Her goal in life is to change lives for the better on a daily basis. To date, she has helped improve the lives of thousands of children and their families, through her care and guidance to help struggling children in their everyday lives.

    Lynda has gone a great job of introducing us to areas of learning that we were not aware of. Our son was in 8th grade and had some difficulty in reading. She first suggested vision therapy then the back to basics with sound identification/ phonetics . My son made progress with intense summer tutoring. Thank you!
