We offer:

Waldorf Early Childhood Program (ages 0–5)

Our Program Includes:

A truly mixed-age preschool/daycare experience for children (aged 0–5).
A 2–8.5 hour day beginning at 7:30am, five days a week (Monday through Friday).
Before or after care as needed.
Our daycare utilizes a Waldorf curriculum for children 3–6 and is inspired by LifeWays for children 0–3.
Two teachers (rather than a teacher and an assistant) with both, Waldorf and LifeWays training and experience.
A very small teacher-to-child ratio of 1–to–6 maximum.
Continuity of care for several years with a cozy “extended family” feeling.
A program designed around being outdoors in our wonderfully mild climate.
Healthy, organic, freshly prepared sit-down meals and snacks served family style to promote healthy, adventurous eating.
Our “green preschool” features a garden setting, landscaped in largely edible, scented, and drought-tolerant plants and trees.
Plenty of opportunities for creative sand, dirt, and water play in an established garden, which is home to many birds and bugs.
A “food-centric” approach, which includes organic gardening, cooking from scratch, composting, vermiculture, baking, and eating consciously.
An allergy friendly environment. We accommodate all allergies & are trained to treat allergies on site as arranged with parent.
Fun, laughter, poetry, puppetry, song, seasonal activities and surprises!
